ARTIST BIO

Born and raised in Ohio, John Taylor is a singer-songwriter currently based in the deeply musical city of Austin, Texas. While settling into a new city during the pandemic, John recorded his self-titled debut EP alongside some of the best players in Austin.

Released in March 2022, the EP is a snapshot of John, where he’s been, and where he’s going, You can hear heartland rock influences in his storytelling, from the Rust Belt to the heart of Texas – a trip well worth the taking.

In 2021, John developed Noteworthy, a radio show and podcast in which he interviews musicians that influenced him, creating opportunities for the music community to listen and learn. Featuring artists such as John Illsley of Dire Straits and David Grissom, Noteworthy began monthly broadcasts on KGTN Radio Georgetown in February 2022.
