Brittany Johnson is a vibrant artist and muralist based in Austin, TX. She is best known for her use of bright colors and unique portrayal of female figures. Traditionally trained in oil paint, Brittany has expanded her skill set to spray paint and street art since moving to Austin in 2016. Her ever-evolving style conveys a fun, playful attitude on life and a colorful interpretation of the world around her. Brittany’s portraits aim to inspire and encourage each individual’s unique power within and to connect us to our divine purpose.
This untitled piece is part of her “Eyes” series. The subjects of the mural are immigrants whose expressions were captured as they arrived in the United States.
