We are proud to have his beautiful piece titled “Sahar” as a part of Dreamland. This large-scale mosaic is composed of almost 31,000 hand-placed tiles and depicts the gaze of first-generation American, Sahar Mahmood, who inspired J with the story of her grandparent’s harrowing migration to the United States. The mosaic consists of 128 differently colored tiles and 30 different shades of grout.
